We take your privacy seriously. This notice explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to rmqualityconstruction.com and any pages where this policy appears (the “Site”), and to information you share with us offline when it relates to the Site or our services.
This policy is not a contract and does not create legal rights beyond those required by law.
1) Information We Collect
We collect information in three ways: you provide it, it’s collected automatically, or we receive it from partners.
You provide:
Contact & inquiry details (name, email, phone, address, project location, message).
Warranty requests (address, issue description, photos/videos).
Bid / prequalification / subcontractor info (company, trade, service area, licenses, insurance, references, tax/W-9).
Careers (résumé/CV, work history, certifications).
Testimonials/portfolio (quotes, photos) with your permission.
Collected automatically (via cookies/analytics):
Device/usage data (pages viewed, time on page, IP address, general location, browser, referrer).
We may use Google Analytics or a similar service to understand site usage. See Cookies & Tracking below.
From partners:
Referrals from program administrators, grant managers, or compliance platforms (e.g., for warranty ticketing or certified payroll), and public records (licenses, debarment checks).
2) How We Use Information
To provide services (scope reviews, bids, warranty coordination, project updates).
To communicate (respond to messages, schedule inspections, send confirmations).
To operate safely and compliantly (Davis-Bacon certified payrolls, Section 3 documentation, license/insurance verification, debarment checks, audit logs).
To improve our Site and services (analytics, troubleshooting, fraud prevention).
To meet legal, regulatory, or reporting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We may use limited data for “targeted advertising” or “sharing” under certain state laws only if we deploy advertising cookies (see Your Privacy Choices).
3) How We Share Information
We share information only as needed to run our business:
Service providers (IT/hosting, analytics, customer support tools, e-signature, compliance/payroll platforms, insurers, sureties).
Program administrators (e.g., state implementation vendors or systems of record for warranty or compliance).
Trade partners (licensed subcontractors scheduled for your project or warranty work).
Legal/disclosure (to comply with law, safety, or contract requirements; to protect rights or investigate issues).
Corporate transactions (if we merge, sell assets, or finance the business, as permitted by law).
We do not allow service providers to use your information for their own marketing.

Targeted ads / sale/share opt-out:
If our Site uses advertising cookies, you can opt out via the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link and through Cookie Preferences. We do not knowingly sell personal information.
Appeals:
If we deny your request and state law provides an appeal process (e.g., VA/CO/CT), you may appeal by replying to our decision email with “Privacy Appeal.” If you remain unsatisfied, you may contact your state attorney general.
Shine the Light (CA):
California residents may request a list of third parties that received personal information for direct marketing in the preceding year. Send requests to privacy@rmqualityconstruction.com with “Shine the Light” in the subject.
6) Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described, to run our business, and to meet legal, tax, accounting, and contract requirements. Typical examples:
Project/warranty & compliance records: kept for required statutory/audit periods.
Subcontractor prequalification & contracts: retained per contract and legal requirements.
Analytics data: kept per the analytics provider’s default window or until deleted.
When retention ends, we delete or de-identify information consistent with our policies.
7) Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we handle (access controls, encryption in transit where feasible, secure storage, and workforce training). No method is 100% secure; please use caution when sharing information online.
8) Children’s Privacy
Our Site and services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact privacy@rmqualityconstruction.comand we will delete it as required.
9) Links to Other Sites
Our Site may link to third-party sites (e.g., program administrators, partners). We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before sharing information.
10) International Visitors
We operate in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you understand your information may be processed in the U.S., where laws may differ from those where you live.
11) Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or laws. We’ll post the revised version with a new effective date. If changes are material, we’ll provide additional notice where required.
